Our Difference
Unlike some other companies that provide submetering services for water, we use our own in-house crews. We do not subcontract or hire based on projects, which means that all of our installers are trained and experienced in the quality controlled installation processes we use.
This is instrumental in preventing issues with the water meter connection in the short and long-term. With some submetering companies it is not at all uncommon to have leaks and problems with meter performance and transmission, but with our experienced installers, we simply don’t have these issues.
Early Detection of Issues
There are, of course, issues that can cause a problem with a water meter connection after installation that is not related to the process. The water meter may be damaged accidentally, or a pipe may be broken or punctured during landscaping or a home renovation.
With our daily read service and the ability to flag accounts that have atypical readings, property managers can quickly identify if there is some time of problem with the water meter connection. Early detection of these types of leaks on either side of the meter will help to quickly detect, locate and fix the problem before there is a significant increase in the bill.
In some cases, if the incorrect type of connector between the pipe and the water meter was used, there may be leaks that start almost immediately after installation, particularly with changes in the ambient temperature.
